Muyuan Foods at a glance

Established in 1992 and based in Nanyang, China, Muyuan Foods is one of China’s largest livestock companies. It operates the world’s largest pig farm and maintains a fully integrated supply chain.

The company is involved in every stage of pork production—from feed manufacturing to processing and retail. As of 2023, Muyuan Foods raises around 100 million pigs and slaughters around 63 million pigs annually.  Its operations span 223 counties and districts across 25 provinces.
