French animal nutrition group TECHNA has bought back the 35% stake that its partner CCPA held for 30 years, which leaves the company’s capital entirely in the hands of its employees.
TECHNA also plans to invest EUR 20 million by 2030 to expand and modernize its factories and to build a new head office.
The announcements were made on 16 September 2026 at a press conference during the SPACE trade fair in Rennes, France, where the group also presented its CAP 2030 strategic roadmap.
Ownership moves fully in-house
The buyback was completed in the summer of 2026. TECHNA said 25% of its staff already hold shares directly, and it argues that independence from outside investors protects the impartiality of its advice and allows decisions to be taken on a long horizon rather than around short-term financial targets.
Chief Executive Jean-Marc Pinsault described the company’s approach as “keeping our heads in science and our feet in our boots.”
He said TECHNA aims to become a global leader in precision nutrition and a significant player in plant-based animal health.
CCPA’s exit from the share register does not end the relationship. The two groups will keep working together on Euronutrition, an experimental farm for poultry and pigs that runs more than 190 trials a year, and on Kumulus, a 2022 initiative to collect real-time data from livestock.
Where the EUR 20 million goes
Most of the money will stay in France. At the Malville plant, TECHNA intends to lift production capacity from 25,000 tons in 2025 to 45,000 tons by 2028, with safety and working conditions also being upgraded.
A new head office will be built, and the offices of its Natual natural health division will be extended. A smaller share is set aside for overseas subsidiaries, to add capacity at existing manufacturing sites and to expand offices and logistics centers.
The group expects to hire around 60 people and has set up the TECHNA Academy, an in-house training program that will also be offered to client partners.
TECHNA expands its presence in India with a 10-member team
Established in 2022, TECHNA India has built a dedicated team of specialists in poultry, ruminant, aquaculture and swine.
To keep pace with fast-growing demand in the region, TECHNA India provides nutritional additives and customized advisory services to Indian feed mills and integrators.
As part of the group’s CAP 2030 roadmap, TECHNA India continues to strengthen its local workforce, to deliver precision nutrition solutions tailored to India’s farming practices, feed ingredients and evolving livestock production needs.

Growth targets
Turnover rose from EUR 63 million in 2020 to EUR 100 million in 2025. Under CAP 2030, TECHNA wants to pass EUR 130 million by 2030 and to earn 60% of revenue outside France, up from 40% now.
It sells to more than 50 countries, has nine priority export markets, and is reviewing possible acquisitions to speed up expansion.
Data tools are part of that plan. TECHNA has built an in-house data team and is rolling out DECISIVE, a platform that tracks temperature, humidity, ventilation, growth, and water and feed intake on the farm and turns them into daily indicators.
In poultry, the company aims to connect 250 French broiler farms by 2030, so that a drop in performance can be spotted on the day it happens.
