The Embassy of Denmark in Indonesia on July 14 witnessed the official launch of the partnership between Sulawesi Optima Wirakarya (SOW) and the Danish pig genetics company DanBred, marking the establishment of the Indonesia–Denmark Swine Genetics Partnership in Jakarta.
This milestone celebrates the arrival of breeding pigs in Indonesia for the first time in decades and reflects the strong and growing agricultural cooperation between Denmark and Indonesia.
“We congratulate both partners on this significant achievement and hope that the partnership will support the sustainable development of Indonesia’s livestock sector while contributing to the country’s food security goals,” stated the Embassy of Denmark in Indonesia.
