Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF) and NH Foods Ltd have advanced their joint venture in Thailand, moving into full production with the launch of the CP Nippon brand. The facility in Chachoengsao province will serve both domestic consumers and export markets across Asia.
CPF NH Foods Co Ltd was formally established in November 2025 as a 50:50 partnership. The venture’s new production phase signals a strategic shift toward premium processed pork products, designed to meet rising demand for high-quality protein in the region. The Chachoengsao facility can produce 3000 tons annually, underscoring the scale of the companies’ ambitions.
CPF contributes its integrated supply chain, extensive distribution network, and regional market knowledge. NH Foods brings advanced food processing technologies and Japanese culinary expertise. Together, the companies aim to set new standards in processed meat production.
CPF CEO Prasit Boondoungprasert said the partnership strengthens Thailand’s pork industry and enhances its role as a regional exporter. NH Foods President Fumio Maeda highlighted the blend of Japanese culinary traditions with Thai operational excellence, promising refined food experiences for Asian consumers. The CP Nippon brand reflects this combination, positioning itself as a premium choice in processed pork.
The Chachoengsao facility uses advanced production systems and strict quality assurance aligned with international standards. Both companies emphasize commitments to food safety, traceability, and sustainability.
